ARTIST TALKS: Looking to expand your appreciation of art? Head to Anderson House for an evening with Adrian Martinez, a local artist who’s an expert on historical revolution art. Martinez will debut his paintings depicting various scenes of the Battle of Brandywine, fought on September 11, 1777, in southeastern Pennsylvania, and discuss his methods alongside refreshments (6 p.m., $25). Or, dive into a talk about racial justice and art with poets at Hill Center at the Old Naval Hosptial. In collaboration with the Folger Shakespeare Library and Mosaic Theatre, the poem talk is in conjunction with the debut of the Till Trilogy this fall (7 p.m., $10).
STORYTELLING NIGHT: Siblings have a bond that’s not quite like any other. At KAMA DC’s storytelling night at Balcón at La Cosecha, come hear from immigrant speakers about how their relationships with their siblings grew over their lives. Speakers, including the owners of Peruvian Brothers right in the market, will discuss the unique cultural experiences and bonds formed during immigration. (6 p.m., donations welcome)

FILM FEST: Tune in to the March on Washington Film Festival, founded in 2013 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Live events will occur during the festival, including a 7 p.m. opening gala Wednesday at Union Market Dock 5 ($500), but attendees can purchase virtual all access passes to watch over 20 shorts and films online.
