Trains will be running on a fairly normal schedule this weekend, after Metro’s momentous week of Silver Line opening celebrations.

Riders can expect trains every 15 minutes to the six new Silver Line stations (including Dulles airport, for any early Thanksgiving travelers), with a weekend flat fare of two dollars. Anyone needing the Green or Red line can expect some slight disruptions due to track work.

Here’s what to expect for your weekend transit, and more from Metro.

Red Line

  • Trains will run every 10 minutes.
  • Due to switch replacement, there will be no train service between Friendship Heights and Grosvenor.  Trains will operate in two segments, from Shady Grove to Grosvenor and from Friendship Heights to Glenmont.
  • The Bethesda and Medical Center stations will be closed, with free shuttle buses running as a replacement.

Blue Line

  • Trains will run every 15 minutes between Franconia-Springfield and Downtown Largo.
  • Blue Plus trains running every 15 minutes between Huntington and New Carrollton.

Orange Line

  • Trains will run every 15 minutes.

Silver Line

  • Trains will run every 15 minutes — and to the six new stations on the Silver Line extension that opened this week: Reston Town Center, Herndon, Innovation Center, Washington Dulles International Airport, Loudoun Gateway, and Ashburn.

Yellow Line

  • The Yellow Line remains closed through May 2023 for the Yellow Line tunnel and rehabilitation project. Riders can take the Blue or Green lines instead.

Green Line

  • Trains will run every 8 minutes between Greenbelt and Navy Yard, and every 16 minutes between Navy Yard and Branch Ave.
  • Trains will single track between Anacostia and Southern Avenue due to radio cable installation. Trains will operate in two segments, from Greenbelt to Navy Yard and Greenbelt to Branch Ave.
