Single tracking, single tracking, and more single tracking this weekend.

Another weekend, another bout of single tracking on various Metro lines.

Riders should expect to wait between 12 and 24 minutes for trains this weekend, with maintenance work happening on every running line except Orange.

If you’re thinking the bus (or a car) might be a better bet — beware of road closures and parking restrictions related to the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit, occurring at the Convention Center. Designated as a special security event by Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Secret Service, crews will be erecting a fence around the center and limiting vehicular traffic, starting as early as Sunday afternoon. Parking restrictions are already in effect.

Here’s more to know about your weekend transit from Metro.
