Only the Red Line is single tracking this weekend.

Metro will run pretty normally this weekend — which means yes, at least one line is single tracking.

Red Line trains will single track between Silver Spring and Forest Glen as crews conduct leak mitigation repairs. Other than that, it should be smooth sailing on the remaining lines. As a reminder, on Monday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) trains will follow Saturday service hours.

Here’s more from Metro:

Red Line

  • Trains will single track between Silver Spring and Forest Glen.
  • Trains between Shady Grove and Silver Spring will run every 10 minutes, with every other train continuing to Glenmont.
  • Trains will operate every 20 minutes only at Forest Glen, Wheaton, and Glenmont. If you’re going north of Silver Spring, board a Glenmont-bound train or transfer at Silver Spring.

Blue Line

  • Trains will run every 15 minutes between Franconia-Springfield and Downtown Largo, while Blue Plus trains will run every 15 minutes between Huntingon and New Carrollton.

Orange Line

  • Trains will run every 15 minutes.

Silver Line

  • Trains will run every 15 minutes.

Green Line

  • Trains will run every 8 minutes.

Yellow Line

  • The Yellow Line will remain closed until May for the tunnel and rehabilitation project. Riders should use the Blue Line Plus (operating between Huntington and New Carrollton) or Green Line (operating between Branch Ave and Greenbelt.)
