MTA Director Holly Arnold said commuter buses would be honoring MARC ticket holders, and encouraged riders to use WMATA options as well. The outage comes on the morning of the annual March for Life in D.C., which organizers expect to draw 50,000 people, according to a National Park Service permit.
Heads up MARC riders! All three lines are impacted by a PTC communication issue this morning. I know how inconvenient this is and our team is working to resolve as quickly as possible to provide service this morning. Please consider Commuter Bus or @wmata options in the meantime. https://t.co/UaVbIvTFvB
