DC BEER KING: Head over to Little Penn to enjoy a drink and some local history about D.C. brewing magnet, Christian Heurich. The event will be led by Mark Benbow, an associate professor of American History at Marymount University and author of The Nation’s Capital Brewmaster: Christian Heurich and His Brewery, 1842-1956. MINDFUL MONDAY: Kick off your week with a rhythmic, restorative yoga flow that links movement to the breath. BLACK WINES MATTER: Join Drink the District for the BWM: Black Wines Matter class focusing on Black-owned wineries and wine brands. The 90-minute class will include tastes of six premium wines, and proceeds will benefit The Veraison Project, which works to create a more equitable wine industry. BREAST CANCER BASH: Come out and support DC NewsBash, a charity event to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer causes.
