UnidosUS, the largest Latino Civil Rights Organization in the U.S., celebrates this Hispanic Heritage Month by showing the power of being unidos. Since our founding in 1968, we have contributed to a stronger America by elevating the voice of Latinos and defending and advancing our community’s concerns.
We are dedicated to creating better opportunities for all Latinos across the U.S., no matter where they come from, the language they speak, or their immigration status. Because we understand that today more than ever there is no single way to define what it is to be Latino.
Through our unique combination of research, advocacy, programs, and a national network of nearly 300 community-based Affiliate organizations, we promote the economic, political, and social advancement of Latinos across a range of issues such as: Civil Rights and Racial Equity, Education, Health, Homeownership and Financial Empowerment, Immigration, Voting and Political Empowerment, and Workforce Development.
With more than 62 million Latinos living, working, and contributing over $2.7 trillion to the U.S. economy, Latinos are part of the fabric of America.
This Hispanic Heritage Month let’s celebrate the power of being unidos. Become part of our Action Network and help us continue to forge a society that provides equal opportunity to all!
