Bus Lanes Are Coming To 16th Street By 2020

The Third Church of Christ, Scientist, on 16th and Eye, is finally coming down. While some celebrate its demise, we’re not so happy to see it go.
Starting next Monday, Metro will add new morning buses to the southern portion of the S-Line running along 16th Street NW.
UPDATE (5:45 p.m.): It appears as if the man who was causing all the fuss has been removed from the scene by EMS. Police are still investigating, but some of the emergency presence should be clearing from the area soon.
