After three years of preparation, 3 Stars Brewing Company is finally making its public debut this week with release parties tonight and tomorrow.

This Friday, 3 Stars Homebrew Company will open up to the public and sell everything you need to get your own beers started: malts, yeasts, hops, and all the supplies needed by both the novice and experienced brewer.

This year is shaping up to be a great year for beer in the District.

During D.C. Beer Week, we will be highlighting some exciting beers and events to attend. On Tuesday, try some homebrew, have rye with BW Rye, and stay out late with local brewers.

Things are moving quickly around the D.C. beer world. Expanding markets, collaborations, new equipment…oh my! As that old saying goes: “No rest for the brewers.” (Or something like that.)
