The Reef Will Reopen Today
After a security guard allegedly got a little stabby with a couple of patrons, the 18th Street spot will be back open for business tonight.
After a hearing with the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board on Friday afternoon, it seems as though a compromise has been reached that could see The Reef back open soon.
How naked is too naked? Depends on the type of liquor license an establishment holds, as Naked Girls Reading recently discovered.
Under a set of proposed rules approved by the D.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, pharmacies won’t be able to sell beer or wine unless they start offering a lot more food for sale.

Bohemian Caverns Closed After Alleged Sexual Assault
The popular U Street NW jazz spot Bohemian Caverns and its attached bar and restaurant, Tap and Parlour, were ordered closed on Saturday morning by the Metropolitan Police Department after an alleged sexual assault there.
Mood Lounge, the Shaw nightclub where two people were stabbed outside its door last year, will lose its liquor license again for not complying with District officials’ orders in the wake of the stabbing incident.

Sticky Rice Able To Serve Alcohol Again On January 7
Today, Sticky Rice agreed to a settlement with the D.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control Board which will allow the restaurant to again serve alcohol this Friday, January 7.
