Isis Won’t be ‘Next Top Model’
Isis King, the local transgender woman who sought to be America’s Next Top Model, this week became the fifth contestant of 14 to be eliminated from the television competition this season. The Advocate reports that host Tyra Banks and the show’s judges “decided King had to go after too many uninspiring photo shoots and catwalk sessions. Sparks and smoke were first reported on the tracks between Dupont Circle and Woodley Park Stations at 7:15 a.m., forcing both north and southbound trains to share one track for two hours. Delays continued after the issue was resolved, as backed-up passengers filtered onto inbound trains. [Washington Post] >> One blogger tells the harrowing tale…

This September NBC plays host not only to the latest installment of corporate head-to-head with the next season of Donald Trump’s The Apprentice, but it also launches the newest catfight with soon-to-be free to move about the country Martha Stewart’s rendition. In a recent release Ms. Stewart hints at a potential conference room (note: not boardroom) bloodfest remarking that the cast’s “poise and creativity is balanced by a…
