Amsterdam Falafel, the popular fries and falafel joint in Adams Morgan, is expanding to 14th Street NW.

It’s true — we love Amsterdam Falafelshop. One of the city’s more optimal quick/drunk/comfort foods, the Falafelshop a must-stop for any adventure into the dark wilderness that is 18th Street NW on a weekend night. But it looks like we’re going to need to learn how to share our pita-stuffed goodness with a lot more people: the restaurant’s ownership announced this morning that they are actively looking to franchise.

Everyone’s favorite falafel joint in Adams Morgan has always screamed European. Obviously with the name, Amsterdam Falafelshop, the Dutch mayo, and pictures of the Netherlands pasted all over.
