Cara Cottle, the girlfriend of well known goth scenester Dirk Smiler, has been arrested and charged with Smiler’s murder, the Washington Post reports. Smiler, 37, was fatally shot in his Annandale home on Feb. 15. Cottle surrendered to Fairfax County police shortly after noon today, according to the Post.
