Remember the babel about those irritating talking Metrobuses? You know, the ones which blare “pedestrian, bus is turning” outside and “caution, look both ways” inside every time the driver turns the steering wheel? According to Metro, we should all get used to hearing it — the announcements are part of a pilot program which started this month and is scheduled to last “about a year.”
