An argument in a Virginia liquor store escalated into blocked traffic on Columbia Pike as police reported a suspect attacked three officers, leaving them with non-life-threatening injuries.

The chief of the Arlington County Police Department denied today that his officers have to meet monthly arrest and traffic ticket quotas in the wake of a leaked memo suggesting that is in fact the case.
