Civil libertarians say that D.C.’s riot law is vaguely written and harsh, allowing police to arrest large numbers of people for little more than being near the scene of a riot.

The District will enforce a curfew for the fourth consecutive night on Wednesday, beginning at 11 p.m. and lasting until 6 a.m. on Thursday.

Activists were arrested outside the offices of Democratic House leadership.

And there are more reports of smoke in the streets, repeated explosions, and police in riot gear moving in on protesters in Franklin Square.

Including 300 today, according to U.S. Capitol Police.

And promptly get arrested.
