Between July 18 and July 20, Fairfax police received a total of five reports involving ATM machines thefts.

John Woodland, a 45-year-old with no fixed address, was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison for a series of robberies committed at ATMs in downtown D.C. — but one less than he had planned.
