Are Reservations Really Worth It? D.C. Restaurants Are All Answering That Question Differently
Two local restaurant owners have lashed out on Twitter at diners who make reservations, then cancel them day-of, or don’t show up at all.
The field has narrowed across the board since February, but D.C. still has several big names in the running, including Pineapple & Pearls and Bad Saint.
Restaurant editor Andrew Knowlton called Bad Saint “the kind of place I spend all year searching for” and praised the “personal” menu by the Filipino-American chef that was borne of deep research into regional cuisine and lots of tinkering.
