The husband-and-wife team hopes to crank out more than 2,000 bagels a day at their shop.

It credits the bagel shop with ending the city’s “much-kvetched-about bagel drought.”

The shop is expected to open this fall with pork roll breakfast sandwiches and “bagel toasts.”

The collaboration from Bagel Uprising and Number 1 Sons has been consistently selling out before closing time.

Stop by the Petworth spot on Thursday through Sunday mornings for locally-roasted coffee, wood-fired bagels and breakfast empanadas.
