Hispanic Heritage Month events are in full swing, it’s D.C. Theatre Week, and there are multiple places to acknowledge Banned Book Week at events around D.C.

A week of programs in honor of Banned Books Week ends with a party to help send off the library before it closes for renovations.

Here’s how the DCPL is celebrating Banned Books Week.

For the next week, D.C. public libraries will be handing out trading cards that feature a Rollergirl and her favorite banned book.
