First Look: Hill Country Barbecue Market
Texas barbecue acolytes can now rejoice. This past Saturday, New York’s Hill Country Barbecue Market opened in Penn Quarter. The restaurant smokes up barbecue modeled on that served at Kreuz Market in the Hill Country of Texas. And while some Texans might argue nothing will be quite the same as what they can get in Texas — especially when it’s being imported from New York — Hill Country hews as close as possible to the real thing.
