The new segment connects Benning Road in the District to Prince George’s County and the Anacostia Tributary Trails System network.
A driver with a California license plate was spotted driving down the W&OD Trail Tuesday. This is as least the fourth incident since June.
With the new span, cyclists will now be able to use the trail without having to navigate a trepidatious set of rail tracks.
