Student organizers say their demands have still not been met, and the Blackburn Takeover will continue.

“The occupation of the Blackburn center must end,” Howard University President Wayne A. I. Frederick wrote in response to a two-week sit-in by students.

The “Blackburn Takeover” continued during Howard’s homecoming weekend, as students camped outside to raise awareness about mold, rodents, and other unsanitary living conditions on campus.
