Joel Ward isn’t really bothered by all those racist tweets. Washington Capitals owner Ted Leonsis is, though.
After the Capitals’ Joel Ward scored the game-winning goal to beat the Bruins in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series, some Boston fans responded on Twitter with messages containing racial slurs directed at Ward, who is black.
