Real question: how long do you spend commuting around the city on a day-to-day basis? From the coffee shop, to work, to that appointment on the other side of town, and all the way home again—city dwellers are in transition a lot. So it stands to reason that if you’re going to spend that much time getting around, you might as well do your best to enjoy the ride. (And avoid traffic jams and stalled trains while you’re at it too.)

How Big Is Your Brompton?
Welcome to a bike that you don’t need to abandon on the pole of a stop sign or awkwardly wedge in between your kitchen counter and your garbage can. When folded, Brompton bicycles measure just under two feet tall and ten inches wide—that’s small enough to tuck under your desk or in your closet with space to spare.
Of all the “sports” out there, biking often seems like the activity with the most crossover between fitness and everyday life. Sure, you can be that guy in the head-to-toe Spandex zipping around idling traffic, but let’s be real: that’s not for everybody. Most bikers are regular people with regular-people problems: they have to get to work, they have to run errands, and they don’t have all the interior space in the world to store big objects…like a typical bike.
