The Weekly Feed: Chewbacca Edition
There seem to be two factions of brownie lovers — those who love them chewy and firm, and those who love them soft and gooey. I fall strongly in the chewy and firm faction, and will be that jerk who eats all the corner and edge pieces. (They make special pans for people like us.) Lucky for me I was the happy recipient of some of the new chewy brownies created by executive pastry chef Tiffany MacIssac for Buzz Bakery.

It’s A Total Mystery, Man
According to this Washington Post report, a group of six students at Potomac High School in Oxon Hill had to be transported to a hospital this morning after — wait for it — they ate some brownies which resulted in them “not necessarily feeling sick, but different.” The brownies in question were not provided by the school’s cafeteria, and were reportedly consumed by a “‘isolated’…group of students.” Ahem….
