New Six Month Limit on Hanging Signs in District
A new set of emergency rules published today applies a blanket 180-day time limit on all signs hung on public lampposts throughout the District.
Bendy signs beware: candidate signage for politicians who were running in the Democratic primary should have been taken down by last Thursday, according to the District’s municipal regulations. (According to the rules, signs “shall be removed no later than thirty (30) days following the event to which it is related” — the primary took place on September 14.)
