No, not Adele Nazim … Idina Menzel is coming to “Let It Go” in D.C., where she’ll appear at the Capital Pride Concert along with Debbie Gibson and others.

After Taiwan’s bid stumbled, D.C. made another pitch and landed WorldPride 2025. Local organizers are excited to welcome thousands of international attendees.

The organizers are friends and longtime Arlington residents who a few years ago took it upon themselves to plan a hometown Pride for the county.

Both officials urged residents to “look out for their neighbors,” as a series of large crowds are expected in the city this month.

The District is ready for Pride Month. This year, residents have their choice of festivals, parties, and activities for the whole family.

“I just got out of the Metro station and I immediately saw flags, I saw people with crazy hairstyles…I had just the feeling of [being] free.”

“It’s a nice reminder of the community, that it still exists. And that we are still here even if we can’t be together in person.”
