The annual D.C. Caribbean Parade has been saved! Well, by Baltimore.

Councilmember Muriel Bowser’s (D-Ward 4) office is working with organizers of the annual Caribbean Carnival Festival and Parade to see if a new location can be found.

Mounting debt and lingering concerns over violence at last year’s Caribbean Carnival Parade may force organizers to cancel this year’s festivities, which were set to take place on June 23 and 24.
