Why Is This Menu Different From All Other Menus? Dining Out on Passover

On Friday and Saturday night, Jews across the world will sit down with family and friends for Passover Seders, retelling the story of their ancestral exodus from bondage in Egypt and partaking in a festive meal. As the week carries on, many will continue to subsist on matzoh, forsaking chametz—grains and the leavened products they produce (bread, pasta, and beer to name a few).

Casa Nonna Hosts Free Gelato Hour

Today from 1-2 p.m., Casa Nonna will launch their street-side gelato cart by giving away free gelato. They will rotate flavors such as Meyer lemon, stracciatella, ricotta and fig vin cotto swirl, and Italian nocciola.

Grandma’s New Digs: Casa Nonna Slims Down

If you’re hungry for Italian food news, then munch on this: Grandma’s house just got sleeker. And by this, I mean Casa Nonna (which translates to “grandmother’s house” in Italian) and its menu, which has slimmed down its portions to accommodate a minimalist downtown clientele.
