California hardcore band Ceremony kicks off the Rock and Roll Hotel’s seventh anniversary tonight. DCist chatted with guitarist Anthony Anzaldo about the band’s constant evolution, the inevitable backlash that follows and playing in D.C.

Ah, the Olympics. The grandeur, the triumph, the three weeks every four years when we, as a nation, pretend we actually care about swimming or figure skating.
