This afternoon, the Washington Nationals were excited to announce that they’ve firmed up their staff after coming to terms with veteran right-hander Chien-Ming Wang a one-year deal.
Sure, Stephen Strasburg might be getting a lion’s share of the attention during the first week of Nationals spring training. But what about our good friend Chien Ming-Wang? Wang, pursued vigorously by the Nationals last winter, is back to work after injury struggles that have kept him on the shelf for over the last two years.

Rehabbed Wang Is Feeling Much Better
According to Postie Adam Kilgore, it appears that the Nationals pitching rotation will get a boost in about a month from righthanded starter Chien-Ming Wang, whose rehabilitation from a shoulder operation is coming along nicely.
