D.C.’s Childhood Vaccination Rates Are Still Too Low
Much of the D.C. region has been recovering from a drop in childhood vaccinations during the pandemic. But rates in the District remain below national averages.
Parents whose children aren’t up to date with required vaccines can bring them to any of five clinics across the District starting Oct. 3.
Students will also have until October or November to show proof of routine childhood vaccinations before they’re barred from attending class.
