Sorry Chris, I feel for you. I too know intimately the harsh sting of mother nature on our homes. Although D.C. avoided the brunt of the storm fronts that brought about the devastation down South, flooding was the bane that arrived on our doorsteps, literally. Chief Zee, legendary Redskins super fan, was signing autographs at the preseason game against the Buffalo Bills a couple of weeks ago when somebody stole his tomahawk. A foot-long wooden-handled accessory, the tomahawk has belonged to Chief Zee for a quarter century. Chief Zee is a fan that gives a huge part of himself to supporting our city’s football team. This petty act,…

Wedding Season Kicks Off for the Redskins

We’re just getting into the thick of wedding season, and so apparently are the Washington Redskins. Somewhat infamous bachelor and Pro Bowl tight end Chris Cooley settled down with his ex-‘Skinette fiancee Christy Oglevee this coming weekend in Landsdowne. Their relationship has gotten plenty of ink (virtual and real) over the past couple years. Cooley himself waxed poetic about the romance just last week, writing on his Yahoo Sports blog, “Maybe her dad brainwashed me…
