To most Americans, churros are served out of a warmer at county fairs and amusement parks. But the best ones are fresh fried, light, and airy.
Ever since Doughnut/Paczki Day (a.k.a. Mardi Gras), I’ve been craving fried dough in various versions — donuts, beignets, and churros. But while there are a number of places that serve donuts and beignets in D.C., churros are a little bit harder to find.

Sabor’a Street Readying to Roll
We first told you about a new food truck, Sabor’a Street, during October’s Curbside Cookoff. The truck is nearly ready to go and awaiting inspection and licensing with plans to start ramping up service after Christmas.
