Report: Anthropologie Coming To Penn Quarter

Washington Business Journal has the news that Anthropologie, the trendy (and, in this editor’s opinion, outrageously overpriced) clothier who has been negotiating for some time to try and get another store inside the District, will be the latest addition to Penn Quarter’s burgeoning fashion district. The store will take a space owned by Douglas Development in the 950 F Street development in Penn Quarter — those spaces have sat empty for around four years, so it’s nice to finally see something going in there.
