The parent admitted to paying Georgetown’s then-tennis coach $50,000 to recruit his daughter to the school’s tennis team.

The California woman paid Rick Singer’s company $9,000 to have online classes taken for her son and help him graduate from Georgetown.

He pleaded guilty in May to having paid $400,000 to a sham charity set up by a “consultant” in exchange for help getting his son admitted to Georgetown University.

In a letter to parents, the Head of Sidwell Friends School warns parents not to verbally denigrate college counselors, call them from blocked numbers, or circulate anonymous rumors about other students.

Twelve students reportedly gained admission to Georgetown through a similar scheme.

Georgetown says any statements it made after asking Gordon Ernst to resign “focused on his athletic record only.”

Isabelle Henriquez wrote that “being a part of Georgetown’s tennis team has always been a dream of mine,” according to court documents. She doesn’t play competitive tennis.

“Georgetown University is deeply disappointed to learn that former Tennis Coach Gordon Ernst is alleged to have committed criminal acts against the University that constitute an unprecedented breach of trust.”
