McKenzie-Gude Gets Five Years
Rockville’s Collin McKenzie-Gude, the young man who pleaded guilty last year to possessing bomb-making chemicals, was sentenced to five years in prison today, the Post is reporting. Among other allegations against McKenzie-Gude, prosecutors alleged the chemicals, an arsenal of firearms and a map of Camp David found among his possessions were part of a planned attempt to assassinate President Barack Obama. Bethesda Teen Pleads Guilty to Attempted Carjacking
The Associated Press reports that Bethesda teenager Collin McKenzie-Gude has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of attempted carjacking. McKenzie-Gude was arrested last year and charged with a number of offenses, including making and exploding pipe bombs and illegally possessing firearms.
