It had to happen eventually. After a 19-game home unbeaten run stretching back to last march, D.C. United finally lost a home game on Saturday afternoon.

Playoffs! D.C. United Punches Ticket to Post-Season
The Nats are out. The ‘Skins are up and down. The Wizards have struggled through the pre-season. The Caps aren’t even playing. No matter, because D.C. United is heading to the playoffs for the first time in five years.
We’ll keep this simple: If D.C. United wins or tie at home tomorrow night, the team will be in the playoffs for the first time since 2007.
