House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) has said that he’s against allowing D.C. to impose a commuter tax.

At a hearing today, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) expressed his willingness to revisit an issue that has long pestered D.C. officials—their inability to impose a tax on people who work in the city but live outside of it.
