The 15-year-old hacker who in April brought down D.C. government websites has been sentenced to six years of probation, during which he won’t be able to access the Internet.

In April, D.C.’s government websites were brought down by hackers—one of which is a 15-year-old boy from California.

Last week’s cyberattacks that brought down D.C. government websites for the better part of a day have continued, with hackers again briefly overwhelming the DC.gov website last night.

After bringing down D.C. government websites yesterday, hackers posted information about Mayor Vince Gray online, including what they claim is his Social Security number.

One of the hacker’s responsible for today’s cyberattack on D.C. government servers warned that more attacks were to come.
