Journalists Are Suing D.C. In Latest Lawsuit Over Police Handling Of Inauguration Protests
The lawsuit alleges that the two freelance journalists have suffered severe emotional distress as well as reputational damage due to their experiences during their arrest and prosecution.
That means that residents no longer need a “good reason” to obtain a permit for carrying a concealed handgun.
For now, the AG’s office is telling MPD to enforce the “good reason” law, but it will be blocked starting approximately next Thursday.
“Due to the importance of this question, which affects the safety of every person who lives in, works in, or visits the District.”
