Councilmembers say they still encourage students to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Masking policies at theaters are still a mixed bag across the region, but the Kennedy Center’s requirement officially expires Oct. 18.

D.C. has already delayed enforcement of the vaccine mandate until January, but the Republican senators say it is “racist” and “highly politicized” and should be repealed altogether.

Oh, and flu shots too.

Students will also have until October or November to show proof of routine childhood vaccinations before they’re barred from attending class.

Sixty-five businesses from D.C. will receive the grants with investments ranging from $50,000 to $750,000.

Meanwhile, DC Health said there are no imminent plans to recommend or require masking indoors.

Free kid-sized KN95 masks will be available in all eight wards starting this week.

Prince George’s mask requirement expires Monday, while D.C.’s mask mandate will end Tuesday.

The county’s indoor mask mandate is extended until Feb. 21.
