A cracked rail at the Rosslyn Metro station is causing delays on the Orange and Blue lines today.

Metrorail discovered a cracked rail on the Red Line this morning, which is causing major delays for commuters trying to get to work.

Metro says it discovered a cracked rail outside the Forest Glen station earlier today. The rail in question is on the Shady Grove-bound side, and delays resulted in both directions on the Red Line as trains were forced to single-track around the problem area for a couple of hours.
