Loudoun County is home to more than 250 miles of gravel roads, some dating back to the 1700s. As development threatens some of those roads, one cyclist says he’ll ride them all in a single sitting to raise awareness.

A One-Mile Stretch Of Northern Virginia’s W&OD Trail Will Get A Second Path For Pedestrians
The project will build an eight-foot trail for pedestrians, in addition to the existing 11-foot trail used for cyclists.
The 20-mile course starts in West Potomac Park, travels into Georgetown and Arlington and finishes by the National Mall.
