Elections Board Rules That Anti-Corporate Cash Petition Did Not Clear Signature Threshold
Activists trying to strip corporate money from D.C. campaigns received a setback today when the D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics ruled they did not present enough valid signatures to earn their petition a slot on November’s ballot.

Vincent Orange won the Democratic primary in last week’s election for his at-large council seat after the D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics counted more than 4,000 provisional ballot.
The D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics will gather tomorrow to count over 5,000 absentee and provisional ballots that may swing the result of the tightly contested At-Large race between Councilmember Vincent Orange and Sekou Biddle.

Early Voting Kicks Off for April 3 D.C. Primary
Though the D.C. primary isn’t until April 3, as of today you can vote early at any of the eight early voting sites throughout the District. Early voting runs from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will continue through March 31, though the election sites will be closed tomorrow.
The nation’s voter rolls are a total mess. That’s why you should check to see if your D.C. voter registration is right and valid.
