Despite record levels of hospitalizations, health care workers say the support – both financial and public – has fallen away.

“The impact on health care is currently greater than at any time in the pandemic,” the D.C. Hospital Association wrote in a letter to Mayor Bowser’s administration requesting more resources and flexibilities.
