The city is installing eight local artists and entrepreneurs at a new temporary retail development at St. Elizabeths East in Congress Heights.

Local painters, poets, performance artists, and musicians are interpreting the current moment by any creative means necessary, be that through protest art or other forms of expression.

After serving 22 years in prison, the D.C. poet, author, and visual artist is selling paintings faster than he can create them.

These five D.C. artists balance Zoom school, masked cheer competitions, PB&Js, and naptime, all while managing clients and new creative projects.
