Green Line trains will now run every 20 minutes instead of every 30.

A late-night flat fare, a $5 SmarTrip bonus, and reduced rate monthly passes are among the changes outlined in the agency’s proposed budget.

Metro still doesn’t have a solid timeline for the return of the 7000-series trains, but the agency has inspected all but 20 of the 748 newest train cars.

The incident happened outside the Arlington Cemetery station, and there were no initial reports of injuries, according to a Metro spokesperson.

“The information uncovered to date raises potentially serious concerns, and we will take all actions necessary to get answers and hold people accountable,” General Manager Paul Wiedefeld said.

Meanwhile, Red Line ridership was down 30-40 percent as the sixth surge begins.

One person suffered a non-life threatening head injury in this morning’s incident near the East Falls Church Metro station.

Service will remain suspended on the Orange Line between West Falls Church and Ballston and between Ballston and McLean on the Silver Line through this evening.

But D.C. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton still has concerns.
