According to WMATA, the individual who was struck by a train at the Clarendon Metro station last night — causing a huge rush hour disruption — is still alive.
The 13th and G Streets NW entrance to the Metro Center Metro station has been temporarily closed due to a suspicious package. Several streets (namely, 13th Street between F and H Streets NW and G Street between 12th and 14th Street NW) have been cordoned off in the proximity.
